Michael "Mike" Warren Booze, 56, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away on July 3, 2024, in Oklahoma City.
Mike was born in Woodward, OK, to Max, and Carol Booze on October 17, 1967. He attended Putnam City North High School, graduating in 1986, and later pursued higher education at Central State University. For over 30 years, he passionately served as a Personal Trainer and founded Body by Booze. Mike found joy in mixed martial arts, weightlifting, and outdoor adventures in Colorado.
Mike had many gifts and talents but his greatest was his ability to listen. Through this, he was able to help countless people. Driven by his passion, he enriched the lives of everyone he knew. His most cherished role was to be a dedicated father and a loving husband.
A favorite prayer of his was, "God, fill me with bold courage to live for such a time as this. You have placed me exactly where I need to be and chosen me for a specific purpose. Free me from fear and guide my decisions. I want to live today as Your chosen child."
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Booze.
He is survived by his wife, Dee Booze of Oklahoma City; daughter, Grace Booze; father, Max Booze; sister, Shelly (David) Berg; step-son, Mike (Mandy) Balliet; several cherished nephews and a niece; a grandnephew; and many loving relatives and friends.
Mike's greatest joy was visiting the family cabin in Allenspark, Colorado, a place he found peace and solace since his earliest years. He will be laid to rest in Colorado, among the Rocky Mountains he loved dearly.
Please join us in celebrating his life on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 10:00 am at Calvary Chapel, located at 7510 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008. The memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Ken Merrihew.
As we all come to terms with Mike's unexpected passing, many families, friends, clients and colleagues have asked how they can offer support for Mike's family. Dee Booze has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Grace Booze 529 Education Fund that has been set up for her at Edward Jones 10310 North 138th East Avenue, Suite 103, Owasso, OK 74055.
Following the service, we would like to invite everyone to join us to share snacks, drinks, fellowship and memories. Anyone who wishes to contribute food to this final tribute should contact Holly Clifton, who will be coordinating this event.
