Michael J. Borchardt

Michael was a great neighbor, just a great person.

I have known Mike and Kate for many years as lovely neighbors. Mike came to my rescue when I locked myself out of my house and he managed to open the door without any damage, and I am forever grateful. Kate and Mike have been great friends and neighbors. I even remember Mike as a Recreation Leader when he was in college, and I worked for the Milwaukee Recreation Department. Rest in peace Mike.

I have known Mike for many years, first as a member of the Holy Assumption Human Concerns Committee, and later as leader of our bible discussion groups. He was such a devoted family man and I was so impressed when we were participating in an annual day of retreat and asked who was the person we most admired. Mike said his wife Kate was the person he most admired and so lovingly described the qualities he found in her.

Loved just sitting and visiting with Mike, he will be greatly missed.
