Michael "Mike" Francis Bowen

May 24, 1955 – September 15, 2025

Michael "Mike" Francis Bowen, 70, of Centreville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at Anne Arundel Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 24, 1955, in Washington, D.C., Mike was the son of the late Walter E. Bowen Jr. and Frances Bowen. He was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Susan Marie Jackson and Mary Frances Brown.

Mike is survived by his sister, Terri Lumpkin (Carroll) of Shady Side, MD; his brother, Chris Bowen (Angie) of Federalsburg, MD; and his brother-in-law, Don Brown of Churchton, MD. He is also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Mike worked as a Maintenance Coordinator for East Coast Enterprise, where his dedication and work ethic were greatly valued. In his younger years, during the 1970s, he proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter with Avalon Shores.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Mike had a passion for football, cheering for the Washington Redskins, and for baseball, faithfully supporting the Washington Nationals. He also enjoyed following NASCAR, which brought him much joy over the years.

In keeping with his family's wishes, memorial services will be private.

Mike will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
