Michael Marvin Brufladt

Mr. Michael Marvin Brufladt, age 65, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, surrounded by his family, following a short battle with cancer. He was born in Muskegon on November 15, 1959 to Einar and Joanne (Postema) Brufladt. Michael was an electrician and member of the West Michigan IBEW Local 275 for over 35 years prior to his retirement in 2016. He was a member of the Fruitport Eagles and enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing. On September 27, 1980, Michael married the former Patricia M. Sobish in Muskegon and she survives him along with their daughter, Tiffany (Zachary Thommen) Brufladt; one grandson, Wyatt Thommen; and his beloved dog, Leta. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael J. Brufladt; his parents; and one sister, Beverly Hansen. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE will be announced at a later date.
