My wife and I want to send our condolences to Dr. Bucan's family. When we moved to Dallas, after just getting married in 1969, we needed a family doctor and Dr. Bucan was highly recommended by a friend of my wife. What a BLESSING he was to us. When my wife was pregnant with our first child Doctor Bucan followed the pregnancy with our regular appointments. I believe our son Dan was probably one of the last babies Dr. Bucan delivered. Those days are gone now when a Doctor follows a pregnancy right through and including delivery and through childhood with shots and checkups. I can still see Doctor wearing his bowtie and once you were in his office he listened and did not try to rush you out, something our modern medicine should get back to. Sorry for your loss, and WHAT A GREAT & COMPASSIONATE MAN HE WAS.

I'm very sorry to hear the news. Dr. Bucan was our family doctor for nearly 30 years. You paid him $5 a visit in the 1950s and waited your turn in his home office. Always patient with a gentle way about him.

Knew Dr.Bucan in the capacity as pharmaceutical representative. Always the perfect gentleman and consummate gentle man. Enjoyed my time with him and hope for the easiest of consolation for his relatives. Rest in peace. You did a good job.
