MICHAEL AUGUST BUENEMANN, affectionately known as Mike, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Fontana, California. Born on August 3, 1965, in Denver, Colorado, Mike lived a life defined by dedication, expertise, and the warmth of family and friends surrounding him.

Mike devoted 30 years to his career as an aircraft mechanic, exemplifying commitment and skill in every task he undertook. His professional journey was marked by service in the Air Force, where he further honed his mechanical expertise and steadfast work ethic. Those who knew Mike respected his precision and unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety and efficiency of the aircraft under his care.

Beyond his career, Mike was a beloved husband to Christine Montoya and a devoted father to his son, Joshua Buenemann, and daughter, Victoria Leu. He was a treasured stepfather to Aaron, Alix, Ashli, and Alicia Montoya, embracing his extended family with generous love and support. His legacy continues brightly through his grandchildren—Alexia, Tristan, Jess, Isaiah, Jackton, and Adam—who will carry forward the values and spirit he instilled.
