Michael Buss Obituary
Cascade - Michael "Blinks" Buss, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at his home in Parnell.
He was born on March 28, 1957, to the late Ivan and Marjorie (nee Bartelt) Buss in Kewaskum, WI. He grew up on the family farm. Mike graduated from Kewaskum High School. On September 30, 1995, he was united in marriage to Kay Dreikosen. Mike worked as a foreman for Michels Corporation for 25 years. He was a member of the Ridge Runners Sportsman Club and was president of the Boar Hunters. Mike enjoyed cooking and was a grill master. He also loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing for walleye. Mike was always a man in the know. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with his children. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Those Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Kay Buss; four children, Aja Buss, Andrew Buss, Robert (Beth) Crofts, and Michael (Harmony) Crofts; two grandchildren, Memphis and Amelia; a sister, Jeri (Jeff) Lauritzen; a brother, Chuck (Carol) Buss; his mother-in-law, Ruth Dreikosen; a sister-in-law, Pam (Mike) Hintz; two brothers-in-law, Craig (Jodie) Dreikosen and Rick (Kari) Dreikosen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service in remembrance of Mike will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave., Kewaskum.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.
The family would like to thank the Cascade First Responders for all their help and care.
