Michael was one of the first persons we met when my husband and I moved to Hot Springs Village. He introduced me to kayaking - a sport I love - and I participated in every paddle event he organized for the POA. Future trips on the Caddo River will not be the same without him! He touched many lives in the Village and will be fondly remembered by all who were on the receiving end of his engaging smile.
Our sincere condolences to his family and friends as you navigate this tragic loss.

Mike was one of a kind guy, he was big kid and always had to have it his way. He helped me find my voice in this world. He was a great roommate, a dear friend, and was like a brother to me. He will be missed.

Thank you Mike for the many memories I have of you during my childhood! I will remember & cherish them always.Thank you for always being the cool cousin you were, making summers so much fun, and putting smiles on faces everywhere you went. You made more of an impact that you will ever know-and were one of a kind. Your stories of your Army service were one of the reasons I enlisted/served. You will never be forgotten, and I will forever continue to look for a red Jeep jamming Pearl Jam cruising down Iron Springs Road. Rest In Peace Mike.

Baby brother, my heart has a huge hole in it. I keep thinking I will wake from this nightmare. I may not have seen you for a very long time, but you were always in my heart and always will be. A piece of me is with you, and you with me. I will love you always. I hope you have peace now.

I will forever cherish every memory we shared. Michael always treated me like a princess and the laughs we shared were plentiful!
20 years have passed since I last hugged you, countless attempts to reach out to you were made and lots of prayers were said hoping you would just show up back home at our door over the years.
My heart is heavy and the sadness has been overwhelming this past week. I hope you know how much I loved you! May your family find comfort in knowing how many peoples lives you brought great joy too! RIP my dear friend!

To Michael´s family, my sincere condolences. As a resident of Hot Springs Village, I knew Michael for his work in the recreation department, and since we ran into each other fairly often, he knew me, as well. He was funny and likable, always had a big smile, and he had a great work ethic. I know everyone who knew him at the POA will miss him, as I do, and knowing he is no longer with us is very sad indeed. Perhaps knowing that he was such a bright spot in people´s lives here will help in some small way to deal with his passing.
