He was a devoted husband to his wife, Gina, and a loving father to Katrina and Ana. He was a cherished brother to Louella and Chit, and a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephew, Abner Rachel, Maybelline, Cathy, Micheal, Mercedes, Marcus. He was also a dear cousin and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lina and Vicente, and his brothers, Rodrigo and Manuel.
Michael lived a fulfilling life, traveling the world and surrounding himself with family, art, and music. He was known for being kind, loving, selfless, and free-spirited.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10 at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, located at 8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714. Visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Prayers will be held on Saturday, April 11, at 9:15 AM at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, followed by a procession to St. Martha Catholic Church for a 10:00 AM Mass. Inurnment will take place at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
