Michael Cedillo, Sr. (45), passed away January 2, 2025, in Lubbock, TX. He was born on July 4, 1979, to Jose and Isela (Vasquez) Cedillo, in El Paso, TX. Michael graduated from Portales High School in 1997. He worked for the Spade Co-Op Gin. Michael was a Catholic at heart and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Littlefield.
Michael loved cooking out, listening to music, and he enjoyed joking around. He was a 49ers fan, enjoyed watching boxing, and he loved to bet. Michael liked to play 31, cruise around town, and loved to go storm chasing; as he would say, “anyways.”
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Jose Cedillo, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Isela Cedillo and husband Andres Marquez, 2 children, daughter Isabel Cedillo and son Michael Cedillo, Jr. and wife Donna, 2 granddaughters Genesis Cedillo, Galilea Cedillo and wife Jessica; 2 step-daughters, Annavaeh and Aria Cedillo, 6 brothers, 1 sister: Robert Vasquez, Juan Perez and wife Alejandra, Javier and wife Emma Perez, Joey and wife Angelica Cedillo, Cesar and Angelica Garcia, Joseph and wife Jessica Cedillo, and his sister Jeanette Cedillo; a total of 25 nieces and nephews, and not to forget his pet son, Gizmo.
The Cedillo family would like to give a special “thank you” to all who donated to the life of Michael Cedillo, Sr.
The family of Michael Cedillo, Sr., will honor and celebrate his life with a funeral service at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 10, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Littlefield, with Father Jeff Church officiating.
