Michael Caleb Chavarria

Mike was the only boy in elementary who wasn´t intimidated to race against me (: as a female I would beat them all but not Mike we´d go neck and neck on the playground. I remember him as a sweet hearted, funny guy. Serious in all the right ways. Intelligent! And over all a good person.

Coach Mike was one of my biggest supporters and motivators with track and field. The summer after my Junior year I was feeling so discouraged. He worked with me and told me if no one else believed in me, he did. I had the best season of my life after that and he continued to motivate me through college. He was truly an amazing individual that will never be forgotten. I will think of him every time I step on the track.

My favorite memory was how he was always on me about doing better with track. Always pushed me to do better even if I was to throw up or not always pushed me to do better

Michael trained my son Tyler for several years at ATP....my son looked up to him and respected him so much!! We will never forget his kindness and patience with Tyler. Kevin, Jennifer and Tyler Baker

I won´t ever forget meeting this handsome, sharp young man when I once rode my motorcycle to uncle Manuel and Aunt Brenda´s house in Canton. I could tell immediately he was wise beyond his years. An old soul. He was very inquisitive about riding motorcycles & I recall just seeing so much Chavarria in him from a young age.
