Michael William Chenette

I knew Mike as a Post Graduate student at Taft where his smile and sense of humour was matched only by his inability to lace up his trainers. I visited him at West Point during his first year, hearing all the tales of Plebe year, the worse bit being the lack of food! We swapped a few letters when I served with the British forces in Germany but, to my regret, we never met up. He had some very sage advice for me. Such a pleasure to have met such a great bloke. (I love a good day in the garden as well!)
