Michael Chirillo Obituary
Michael Andre Chirillo, 38 of Vanderbilt, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at home.
Born in Dearborn, Michigan on February 7, 1985, he is the son of Andrew Chirillo and Michele (Rocheleau) Chirillo Kelly.
Michael was a talented musician. Having received his first guitar before he was two years old, he had played almost all of his life. He could also play piano, drums and other instruments. He enjoyed playing heavy metal with a number of bands.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and camping with his family and playing games on his PlayStation. Michael was loving and kind to his family and friends. Despite the setbacks he faced in life, he always wanted others to be happy and to enjoy spending time together.
He is survived by his parents, Michele (Terry) Kelly and Andrew Chirillo; his sister, Serena (Donny Green); and his maternal grandfather, Joe Rocheleau.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Vanderbilt Community Church, where the family will visit with friends beginning at 12:00 noon. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the charity of their choice.
