Michael Edward “Eddie” Cicatko, age 71, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025. Eddie enjoyed a simple and fulfilling life surrounded by the people and things he loved most. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially loved riding 4-wheelers with his closest friends, David Howard and Michael Lane. He took great pride in his little Toyota pickup truck and was always working on it. With a strong understanding of older car engines, Eddie was known for his ability to repair just about anything. At home, he always had the right tool for the job and was dependable whenever something needed fixing.
Over the years, Eddie worked in auto repair, roofing, and general maintenance. He loved the holiday season and looked forward to helping with Christmas decorations each year, as well as driving around to see Christmas lights. He also enjoyed family get-togethers and going out to eat with family; two of his favorite local restaurants were Ship 2 Shore and Steffens. In his downtime, Eddie liked watching Lottery Dream Home, old Perry Mason episodes, and the classic sci-fi movies he grew up with. He credited Michael and Anna Lane with saving his life 3-1/2 years ago, and lived with his sister and brother-in-law since then. He was strong in his faith and spent many years studying the Bible. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Andrew Cicatko and Annie Mae Brown Cicatko.
Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are his daughter, Jennifer Elaine Cicatko Connelly of Kingsland, GA; three grandchildren, Lyla Darlene Wainright, Devyn Alton Spikes, and Brandyn Matthew Spikes; his sister, Susan Camille Cicatko Lane (Steve Lane) of Kingsland, GA; nephew, Michael Steven Lane (Sheri Massey Lane) of Anna, TX; niece, Taryn Amanda Lane Bradbury (Chadwick Levi Bradbury) of Kingsland, GA; and great-niece, Angelina Marie Bradbury.
A private committal service is to be held at a later date.
Low Country Cremation & Burial is honored to be of service to the Cicatko family.
