Quincy resident Michael Phillip "Harley" Ciotta passed from this life unexpectedly, Wednesday evening, August 10, 2016 at Eastern Plumas District Hospital's Emergency Room while enroute to medical care in Reno, NV. Born December 27, 1977 in Pomona, CA he was raised in Southern California until moving to Portola, CA at age 16 where he graduated from high school as a member of the "Class of 1995". Shortly following his graduation he moved to Quincy. While residing in Quincy he joined the Quincy Las Plumas Del Oro Chapter 8 of E. Clampus Vitus (Clampers) and devoted his time to insuring the growth of the chapter. In his untimely passing Harley leaves his parents; Terry M. Ciotta of La Habra, CA, and Ingrid J. Miller of Portola, daughters; Vanessa and Nevaeh Ciotta both of Chico, brothers; Kevin Ciotta of Chico and Jesse Joy of Portola, sister; Jennifer Ciotta of Reno, NV and nephews; Justyn, Jessie and Jerry. A Celebration of Harley's life will be announced at a later date. Inurnment is being planned for Shady Grove Cemetery in Portola.
