Michael Roy Coleman, a hardworking and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born on December 8, 1950, in Potosi, Missouri.

Michael had a fulfilling career working many years on the railroad. His dedication and strong work ethic were evident in his commitment to his job. He took pride in his work and always strived to do his best.

In addition to his professional life, Michael's military service played a significant role in shaping him into the remarkable individual he was. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1976. His service exemplified bravery and patriotism.

Outside of work and military service, Michael had a deep love for the outdoors. He found solace in activities such as fishing, hunting, and simply sitting on the porch enjoying nature's beauty. His compassionate nature extended to animals as he cared deeply for them. His beloved cat Midnight held a special place in his heart.

Family was of utmost importance to Michael. He was a loving husband to his wife Dora Jean Coleman throughout their 53 years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with love and shared memories. Michael was also a dedicated father to his daughter, Roxana Renee Hall and husband Bernard and son Michael "Wayne" Coleman and Anna. He cherished being a part of their lives and provided unwavering support and guidance.

In addition to his immediate family, Michael is survived by his brother Richard "Rick" Neil Coleman and wife Irma; grandchildren, Marcus, Brianna, Gareth, Michael "Mac," Tyler, and great-grandson Raylon. Spending time with them brought him immeasurable happiness as he watched them grow and thrive.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Roy Coleman, mother Leatta Marie (Gough) Coleman, and brothers Stanley Coleman and Mark Coleman. Although their absence left a void in his heart, his fond memories of them endured.

Michael will forever be remembered for his dedicated work ethic, love for nature, and devotion to his family. May he rest in peace knowing that his legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories he created.
