My sympathy to the Corken family. Mike was a good man leader, and great boss. He was demanding though caring and imaginative as a television GM. Later when we were both away from daily television we collaborated on a project and again it was a delight to work with him. Full of life and straightforward. Fond memories and regrets at his passing.

He was without question a truly different kind of general manager. He cared about everyone who worked at WDSU and he cared about the community. My thoughts are with his family. Ro Brown
