CORSO, Michael Michael Corso, 79, of Windsor, passed away on Sunday, (February 26, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, son of the late John and Josephine (Cappiello) Corso, he had lived in Windsor all of his life. Michael served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a truck driver with Teamsters Union Local #671 working for Adley Freight and Connecticut Fast Freight. He was a former member of the Windsor Lodge of Elks #2060 B.P.O.E., a member of the Sam Campaine Club, and a lover of all animals. Michael is survived by two sons, James M. Corso and his fiancee Gale Paige of Windsor, and Michael J. Corso of Vernon; a daughter, Camie Bieri of East Granby; and a granddaughter, Jessica M. Corso of Enfield. He is also survived by two brothers, John Corso and his wife Jean, and Robert Corso and his wife Mary, all of Windsor; a brother-in-law, Edward Rozanski of Hebron; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Rose Rozanski. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 9:15 a.m., from the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad St., Windsor. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael may be made to Northwest Park, c/o Town Hall, 275 Broad St., Windsor, CT 06095or to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
