Kind and loving words can help heal your hearts at this time especially coming from a God of comfort. Take solace in the words found in Isaiah 57:15.

Uncle Bill, I cannot thank you enough nor tell you how much I love you and loved Mick. I am so grateful and thankful for the start of my life as an adult which began in Manhattan with you then shortly coming thereafter Mick. It is a tragedy that Mick died at a young age, as I view it. He was a true friend, a truly loving and caring man, and a man who with you and James Dennis helped me to begin life in Manhattan.

I cannot express my own deep sorrow enough for Mick's death. I pray for him constantly for the repose of his soul. He was a good man. Never once did Mick ever say a bad word about any person - ever.

He was a joy of knowledge and great discussion in his presence. I will forever miss the three of us together along with James enjoying a great meal on the 22nd floor of 34th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue in the truly pleasant Murray Hill section of Manhattan.

In the proper use of "L'chaim" - [May you be consigned] to life, the life in question being that of the blessing's reciter, not life in general. So for Michael Cressey, I hear him saying "L'chaim."

Please get well immediately Uncle Bill. Do not give up on life.

I love you.

Your nephew,

-Patrick
