Michael David Cunningham was born on September 1, 1983, to David and Juanelle Cunningham in San Angelo, TX. He passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 41.
Michael was known for his bright, infectious smile that could effortlessly illuminate any room. With a heart full of love, he was fiercely protective of his family and friends, always ready to stand up for those who needed support. His sense of humor brought joy to many, and his laughter will be deeply missed.
An athlete at heart, Michael excelled in baseball, showcasing not only his talent but also his dedication to the game. He enjoyed working in the food service industry and was greatly respected by his co-workers for his friendly nature. He took pride in serving his family with his ability to meticulously detail their vehicles. The care Michael put into his work and hobbies mirrored the care he showed for those he loved. His sister has been flooded with messages from Michael's friends about how important his friendship was, how kind he was to them, and how greatly he will be missed.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, David and Juanelle Cunningham; grandparents, J.C. "Jake" and Martha Cunningham; and cousins, Jeanifer Lary and James Lee Lary. He is survived by his daughter, Gabriella; grandchildren, Kharmen and Layanna; sister, Bonnie Cunningham Betterton and husband, Steven; nephews, Gavin and Colton; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and extended family.
