East Nassau- Michael J. Cuzdey, Jr., 87, of East Nassau passed away at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga, on December 30, 2025. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Michael and Helen (Wood) Cuzdey. Michael was a United States Army veteran, serving honorably from 1955-1958. He was employed by CSX in Selkirk for 20 years prior to his retirement. Michael was an outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Michael Cuzdey, and his brother, Larry Cuzdey. He is survived by his children, Patrick, Adam (Rachel), Noele Routh, Gilbert (Hiroe), Vincent, Johanna Zee, Joseph (Barbara), Wesley (Jennifer), and Joshua (Ellen) Cuzdey.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 26 Church Street, Nassau, NY 12123.
