Mr. Michael R. Dailey

SALEM - Mr. Michael R. Dailey, 57, of Salem, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Beverly, following a lengthy illness. Michael passed away surrounded by his loving family. Born in Salem, he was the son of Elaine (Ahu) Dailey and the late Lawrence O. Dailey. Michael was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1979. Well known as a hard-working and loyal employee, Michael had been employed by local roofing and gutter companies. Most recently he had been employed in the automotive glass repair industry for several years. Michael was a loving son, brother and friend. Those who knew him, will remember him for his easy going personality, who would lend a hand whenever needed; his kind and warm heart; his great sense of humor that kept you laughing even from his hospital bed. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends. Surviving Michael, in addition to his mother, Elaine Dailey of Salem, are his sister, Robin Yeung and her husband Toddy of Peabody, his brother, Glenn Dailey and nephew, Jason and great nephew, Noah of Salem; his sister, Laurie Michaud and her husband Doug and nephews, Justin and Craig of Peabody; his sister, Alison Gagnon and her husband Nelson and nephews, Matthew and Derek of Peabody; and his sister, Malia Rowe and her husband Brian and nieces, Chelsea and Samantha of Peabody.
