Michael A. Davis

Michael A. Davis, age 65, of rural Wapakoneta, passed away peacefully at his residence on November 10, 2025, at 1:38 PM, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 28, 1960, in Lima, OH, the son of Ned E. Davis, who survives him, and Katherine (Overs) Davis, who has preceded him in death. Michael is also survived by his wife, Carla Sue Huebner Davis, of Wapakoneta. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Crystal (Brent) Pyles and Jessica (Harold) Golden, both of who reside in Wapakoneta. Michael cherished his nine grandchildren, who loved him dearly.
Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky E. Davis. He had a special bond with his English bulldogs, Bam Bam and Pebbles, who brought him joy throughout his life.
A dedicated employee, Michael worked for the Wapakoneta Schools for 39 years, where he made many lifelong friends. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, relaxing by his pond, and sharing a few cold drinks with those he loved.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m., Sunday, November 16, at the funeral home. Donations can be made to Everheart Hospice in honor of Michael's memory.
