Very sorry to hear the news. My deepest condolences to Michael's family. He was a true professional and a great leader.

I feel very fortunate to have met and known Mike through our A&WMA volunteer efforts. Mike was someone I looked up to and tried to emulate. I know his family will miss him the most, but I will miss catching up with him at the annual A&WMA meetings and reading his updates from COP ... and I know the rest of his A&WMA colleagues will miss him, too. He fought the good fight, lived a very full and impressive life. He will live on in our memories.

Mrs. DeBusschere, my heart and prayers are with you and your family. I think of you often and am deeply sorry for your loss. May your memories bring you comfort.

I am saddened to hear this, and so sorry for our collective loss. Mike was a leader and a role model in our local environmental community. Always knowledgeable, professional, polite, courteous, friendly, and an all-around good guy and neighbor. He will be missed.
