Michael Glen DeWitt

Michael Glen DeWitt, 73, of Kyle, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Orchard Park in Kyle, Texas. He was born in Wheeler, Texas, on November 27, 1952, and was the son of J.W. and Marcella DeWitt. He graduated from Pampa High School and shortly thereafter began working in the oil field where he had an extensive career.

Michael was a member of Abundant Grace Church in Kingston, Oklahoma, and enjoyed teaching Sunday school at Enos House of Prayer. He loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. He found joy in blessing others through roofing the church, providing for his family, and helping many throughout his life. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking, antique shopping, watching *Gunsmoke*, and enjoying coffee. He also enjoyed spending his time with Dottie the Boston Terrier. He will be most remembered for his generosity and strong faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Wayne DeWitt and Ron DeWitt.

He is survived by his children Bryan DeWitt, Jeremy DeWitt (Karen), David DeWitt (Judith); his siblings Virginia DeWitt, Cathy Reyes, Venita Morehead, Calvin DeWitt, Dorothy Morgan, Karen Rodgers, J.W. DeWitt, Vickie Lauer, and Tim DeWitt, as well as eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle, Texas, on December 29th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on December 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., immediately followed by graveside.
