Please accept my condolences on the passing of Mike. I met him many years ago along with through the Franceconi's. We had good times together, since I left R.I. I lost contact. I remember him always smiling.

Although I just met Mike A YEAR AGO WE SERVED ON THE CVS 39 Lake Champlain at the same time and did not met till he moved to Sand Castle. The short time I new Mike he was a good friend he will be missed. My prayers to the family.

Mike was my godfather and I remember long ago spending time with him and Elaine in Attleboro, South Attleboro and Pawtucket. Mike was always a jovial guy and was a good godfather, I have not seen him recently but when I got the news, I missed him and wished I could have seen him more. A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says She is gone.
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.
And just at that moment, when someone at my side says she is gone, there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout There she comes!
