Dad, can't believe this much time has passed, think of you and Mom everyday..everytime I use one of your old tools, which is alot, it brings back great memories of you using them... also wanted to let you know all your grandchildren have grown up to be great people, you would have been so proud. PS. you would have had so much fun with your great grandchildren, there is a piece of you in all of them.

Dear Didio Family,
I happened upon this site while searching for a photo of Mike to use on the Luminaire bag for the Relay for Life Cancer Walk this year (2006). Please know that we will always remember Mike and our thoughts are with the entire family. Mike had to have been the kindest, nicest man I have ever known. May he rest in peace.

Der Paul and the entire Didio family:
Paul: I just happened to glance at the death notices in the Free Press yesterday...why I don't know... I never look at them since I moved up north. The name and your dad's picture caught my eye...maybe it was supposed to happen. Please know that my family's thoughts and prayers are with you at this most dificult time. I will always remember the times I was at your home having a couple of beers with the family watching a game or two when we worked together and how your mom and dad made me feel like a member of the family...sort of Irish/Italian I guess. Please convey our condolences from my family to yours. Call me in the near future and we'll catch up on the past few years we haven't seen each other.
Our thoughts are with you.

Mrs Didio and family,
We are sorry to hear of the loss of your husband .Its been around 40 years since he tried to teach Paul and myself the game of baseball. If Paul would have just listened he may have been as good as me. Tell all the kids our prayers are with them also.

Dear Matt, Andrea, Chris, Mike and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. How ironic it was to look in the paper and see my dad right next to yours. Two great people will be watching over our families. The memories we all have will be cherished forever.
God Bless you all.

Dear Didio family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond childhood memories of hanging out at your home - your father (and husband) was a wonderfully loving man. The loss of a father is indescribable, but just know that during your darkest moments the wonderful, wonderful memories you have of your Dad will see you through. Take care of yourselves and each other. God bless.
Fondly,
Shellie Kuecken-Maitre

Grandpa you were always there for me when I needed you. I know it was time for you to go but I loved you so much and i was happy that you died peacefully and happy. I loved going places with you and having McDonalds with you and getting pancakes and a hot chocolate. I remember when you would pull in the driveway and I would come to the truck and get candy. We were so close. I remember you were the Jr State Champ of everything and you could always put a smile on my face.
