Michael Anthony DiNuzzo Sr.

Michael Anthony DiNuzzo Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend died suddenly on December 5, 2025. Born in NYC on November 7, 1946, to the late Michael and Carmela (Valenzano) DiNuzzo, Michael grew up on Second Avenue in Manhattan. Michael was drafted into the service and served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict where he was stationed at the DMZ in Korea. Upon his honorable discharge, he resumed his banking career with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. Surviving 40 years and five bank mergers, Mike retired from his corporate banking career at JP Morgan Chase at age 60 leaving behind his many lifelong clients and colleagues. His retirement included family, travel, children and grandchildren.
Mike enjoyed his variety of hobbies including astrology, history and crossword puzzles. Mike's favorite pastime was interacting and playing with his three beautiful grandchildren.
Mike was an extraordinary person who lit up the room wherever he went. His personality was legendary. He made everyone he met smile and feel like they mattered. His warmth would permeate the coldest heart.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marlboro Township Councilwoman, Antoinette (Gibardi) DiNuzzo, his children, Michael Jr. and Christina and Anthony DePasquale, his beautiful grandchildren, Giovanna Flora, Giulia Rose and Anthony Louis Jr., his brother and sister-in-law John and Margaret DiNuzzo, his brothers-in-law John Gibardi and Charles (Alison) Gibardi and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael was a Saint Gabriel's Parishioner and will live on in the hearts of those he loved. His laughter and legacy will inspire tranquility at the mere thought of his beautiful heart. Friends and family are invited to gather at Waitt Funeral Home at 501 Highway 79 Morganville, NJ 07751 on Tuesday and Wednesday December 9th and 10th between 4 and 8 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church located at 100 North Main Street Morganville, NJ 07751 at 11am on Thursday December 11th. Mike will be laid to rest at Saint Gabriel's Chapel Mausoleum 549 Route 520 Newman Springs Road Marlboro, NJ 07746.
