Michael A. DiPaolo

Michael A. DiPaolo, passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2024, at age 83
surrounded by family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the
beloved husband of Jane E. (Powell) DiPaolo with whom he shared 39 years of
marriage. Devoted father to his five children; Michael A. DiPaolo, Jr. and his wife,
Joanne, of North Attleboro, Peter DiPaolo of Revere, Regina Tello and her late
husband, James Tello, of Middleton, Christopher DiPaolo and his wife, Shanon, of
Revere, and Dominique DiPaolo and her wife, Marie, of West Peabody. He was the
loving Papa to eight grandchildren; Meghan, Ava, James Jr, Julian, Jaxson, Luca,
Mikayla, and the newest addition to the crew, Benjamin. Loving brother to Teresa
Lynch and her late husband, Edward, of Revere, and the late Romaine & Vincent
James Bavaro, also of Revere. He is survived by many nieces and nephews
including, Renae Bavaro Coleman, Julie Lynch and Shawn Lynch.
Raised in East Boston, the son of the late Louis and Anne (Puopolo) DiPaolo. He
honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Upon
returning from the Army he worked for the former Eastern Airlines, as part of the
ground crew, and later with the Revere Department of Public Works where he met
many lifelong friends. His morning coffee was often spent with friends at Market
Basket, alongside his best buddy, Johnny Desimone. He enjoyed the simple
things, especially boating on Moose Pond, and spending time at his home in
Bridgton, ME with his family.

SERVICE INFORMATION
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella
Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Sunday 2-6 p.m. A funeral will be
held from the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in
Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., SAUGUS, at 10:30 a.m. Interment
Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
