Michael F. Ditmer

Michael F. Ditmer, Age 52, of Laura, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born April 1, 1963 to Gene & Genevieve (Troutwine) Ditmer in Dayton, Ohio. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Angela (Chambliss) Ditmer of 23 years; daughters Kirstin (Greg) Fetters of Laura, Courteney (Aaron) Potter of West Alexandria, and Hannah Marie Ditmer of Laura; 6 grandchildren; brother Darryl (Judy) Ditmer of Clayton; sisters Theresa Ditmer of Laura and Jeneane (Steve) Quist. Mike was a member of Living Word Church where he was very involved with Acts 29 Missions and going to Haiti to excavate the mountain to build schools for children. He also owned and operated Ditmer Excavating, loved to farm his land and was a family man. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Living Word Church, 926 E. National Rd, Vandalia, Ohio 45377, with Pastor Pat Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Potsdam Cemetery, Potsdam. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday, August 27 at the church. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
