Michael Dotson Obituary
Michael Lee Preston-Dotson, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Michael was born on July 29, 1989 to Tina Dotson and Michael Harold Preston at Doctors North Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Michael worked at Mill Tech Cabinetry for over 8 years. Michael also enjoyed doing custom countertops.
Michael was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed spending weekends fishing with family and friends. The water was like a second home to Michael. Through his many years of fishing, he won countless trophies and tournament. He was even awarded the nickname "Egg Beater Bandit."
Michael will be deeply missed by his mother Tina Dotson, father Michael Harold Preston and step-father Skeeter Murrell. Brother Stonewall Lee Runyon and Grandma Sharon Dotson along with his many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandpa Tronie Dotson.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 1pm until the time of service at 3pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the funeral home to assist the family.
