Michael John “Mike” Doyle of Noblesville, Indiana passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
Mike was born on July 12, 1949, in South Bend, Indiana, to John Thomas Doyle and Mary Jane Doyle. In 1970, he married Kathleen Louise Kistner.
Mike was an avid collector of World War I and World War II memorabilia, as well as countless other treasures from the past. He had a deep love for reading, antiquing, and exploring yard and estate sales for hidden gems. Mike was known for his caring heart, warm personality, and an unforgettable sense of humor that touched everyone who knew him. He was very generous and would help anyone in need. Mike was a devoted father and grandfather who took great pride in his family.
Mike graduated from Bishop Chatard High School in 1968 and later graduated from Ivy Tech State College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves and was called to active duty during the Vietnam War. A true history enthusiast, Mike also had a lifelong love for science fiction films, with his favorite being War of the Worlds (1953). One of his greatest joys was attending military shows with his grandson, Brevin.
Mike devoted 28 years of his career to Williams Comfort Air, where he took immense pride in his work. He retired in 2021 as warehouse manager. His kindness, loyalty, strong work ethic, and dedication will be remembered by many coworkers and friends.
Mike will be deeply missed by his son, Anthony Michael Doyle and his wife, Stephanie; his daughter, Megan Marie Doyle and her partner, Don Eric Evans; his grandchildren, Brevin Christopher Shafer and Ava Marie Doyle; his sisters, Claire, Kathleen, Mary Beth, and Patrica; his brother, John Doyle; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Mike’s legacy of love, humor, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
