Such a great guy! Always had a smile on his face! Fond memories of our time together at Delta both in the Boston base and down in New York. Running into Mike during our many commutes to and from New York always made them better!!!
Deepest condolences to his family and so many friends!

We are absolutely saddened for your loss!!

There were many days Mike, me, Fitzy and Bobby found our ways into significant shenanigans during and after high school. There are so many memories growing up with and hanging out with Mike!!

I pray that you can find comfort knowing he´s with Jesus now!

Mike was an amazing guy, we had lots of fun times coming down to Boston to play some airline hockey, lunch and many laughs. Those overseas hockey tournaments were also very special and I hold many wonderful memories our Driz.

I was heart broken when I got the news, Rest in Peace buddy and shine that star down on us.

My condolences to his entire family

Mike is already in heaven with our Heavenly Father.
Family, Faith and Friends were his priorities and he mastered them all.
Countless overseas hockey trips to Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary
, etc... created a lifetime of fun memories. Our day excursions to ride the rails in Switzerland and visit surrounding cities were priceless (we called each other Heinz Bitte). Given Mike´s strong faith, he never passed a church without going inside to say a prayer and indulge in its tranquility and beauty.
Above all, Mike LOVED his family.
Rest in peace Driz and thank you for being a friend.

Mike was a great guy. He was a man of great faith. I remember him during Covid being such a great help in keeping Saint Mary´s church open and safe during a time when most parishes were closed. He loved the book that I wrote The Farewell Christmas which about the last Christmas I spent with my older brother Jackie who was also an aviator. He told me that he read the book every year at Christmas. May God accept Mike with open arms in heaven!

I had the pleasure of playing hockey with Michael on both the Delta team and at Blue Gold. When I was new to the Boston area he was such a welcoming and genuine person, he touched many lives in a positive way. I have several great memories of him during the overseas tournaments and am grateful to have met him. My condolences and prayers are with you.

Mike was such a great friend, father and husband. Fortunately, I got to witness first hand for many years. Endlessly devoted to his kids, worshiped his wife, and always there to help his friends. Our family benefited from his wonderful generosity of spirit. My favorite memory was when my oldest son was young and started having to travel by plane for sports. He was so scared. Mike would sit with him, explaining all the reasons why it was safe. Reminding him, "I´m driving and I have to get home to my own family! Nothing will happen!" Explaining all the pilots have to get home to their own kids. They want ice cream, have to get to sports, etc.... I am heart broken. RIP. I love you Mike. Susie
