Michael A. Duccini

Michael A. Duccini, age 64, of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully at 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Hillcrest Family Services Seippel Road Care Facility, formerly known as the Julien Care Facility. To honor Michael's life, funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Faith Temple United Pentecostal Church, 12805 Seippel Road, with Rev. Lynn Spicer officiating. To celebrate Michael's life, family and friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Michael was born on December 18, 1949 in Dubuque, son of Walter and Genevieve (Urbain) Duccini. Michael was a very loving and outgoing man whose faith was very evident to those who knew and loved him. He was proud to be part of the family's fishing business and enjoyed many hunting trips. He valued spending time with his loved ones and was always eager to engage in a good conversation. Brother Mike was a very active and longtime member of the Faith Temple family. Michael is survived by 2 brothers; Martin (Janet) Duccini of Appleton, WI. and John Duccini of Dubuque. 2 sisters; Janet Imbus of Dubuque and Susan Severtson of Dodgeville, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his best friend and extended family member, Ray Ward. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Duccini and a brother, Joe Duccini. A Michael A. Duccini memorial fund has been established. The family would like to thank the staff at the staff at Seippel Road Care Facility for all their great care of Michael over the years.
