Michael James Ducharme

Michael James Ducharme , 66, after a long fight with cancer, passed peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston MA with loved ones at his side.

Born on October 6, 1958 in Amesbury MA, he was one of four children of the late Charles and Grace M. (Tuxbury) Ducharme.

His life was dedicated to his loved ones with a kind heart, and compassion, and sense of humor.Michael was a gentle, strong, intelligent loving person who loved to talk and had deep ideas; and showed kindness to all.

He worked for AT&T., Lucent Technologies, and recently as a security guard which he excelled in and enjoyed. He was a very dedicated worker who could be called on to help. At work as a security guard he often talked to people who passed by with an open heart.

He leaves behind his common law wife, of over twenty years, Carmen Gonzalez, two brothers and a sister, Raymond Ducharme and wife Patricia of VA, George Ducharme and wife Kathryn, Jeanmarie Ducharme of NH; and nieces and nephews, and extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1 P.M. at the South Hampton Baptist Church, Jewell Street, followed by a Graveside Service at the South Hampton Cemetery, behind the Baptist Church. Arrangements were made by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home.
