Michael Durfee Obituary
Passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 66.
Predeceased by his parents, Richard & Margaret Durfee; sister, Lynette Durfee; brother, Richard Durfee.
He is survived by his children, Shaun (Ruth) Durfee, Kelley (Craig) Cavallaro, & Erin (Rocky) Lakey; grandchildren, Avery, Elizabeth, Bailey, Dominic, Nico, & Logan; brother, Timothy Durfee; aunt, Betty Capuano; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael had a love for the outdoors, where he was often found hunting, fishing, and spending cherished moments with friends at the lake cabin. He adored his grandchildren and created lasting memories during family camping trips with his children and their families. He found joy in setting out for long, scenic drives in his truck. Known for his generous heart, Michael was always ready to lend a helping hand at a moment's notice.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Friday, January 24 at St. Christopher's Church, 3350 Union St. Family will receive friends that evening from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to: Mt. Caramel House- 288 Frisbee Hill Road, Hilton, NY 14468.
