Our beloved father and grandfather, Michael E. Blair (aka Mike or Pop Pop), age 83, passed away on May 28th, 2025. He left behind a lifetime of memories and shared laughs with family, friends, and co-workers. He married his childhood sweetheart, Sandra Mallett, and shared many adventures together including living on a sailboat. He had a creative spirit and was an avid hobbyist. When his kids were children, he flew kites, took them camping and fishing, enjoyed the beach, and helped with science projects. Mike was the son of the late Sidney A. and Violet (McNary) Blair and predeceased by three of his siblings. He has one sister, Beth, remaining.
Our mother, Sandra K. Blair (aka Sandy or Pooky), age 82, passed away on September 10, 2025 after an extended illness. She was beautiful, intelligent, quick-witted and had a brilliant smile. She loved her grandchildren and always enjoyed hearing about their adventures. She also enjoyed sailing, the beach, and always sent the best cards. Sandra was the daughter of the late Lewis Homer and Mary (Hupp) Mallett and sister to Larry Mallett.
They are survived by their son Kelly Blair (Kelly Anne), daughter Carey Albrecht (Brian), and five beautiful grandchildren. They both loved to laugh, so please share a joke or send a funny card to a loved one in their memory.
To honor their memory, please send donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or A Place to Be. A Place To Be is a nationally recognized, award-winning therapeutic arts organization creating community, belonging, and hope through music therapy, performance, and the expressive arts.
