Michael J. Eichendorf

Michael J. Eichendorf, of Plover, WI, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at the age of 68.
Michael was born on March 22, 1954 in Stevens Point, WI, to Maurice and Ann (Worzalla) Eichendorf. He grew up in the area and attended local schools. In 1972 he graduated from Pacelli High School. He then furthered his education, attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. After obtaining his bachelor degree, he went on to work for Sentry Insurance, dedicating over 32 years in the claims department.
Michael loved all sports. He especially enjoyed golf and he was a talented golfer himself. He also loved walking. Michael participated in numerous walk-a-thons; in Appleton, Green Bay, and Stevens Point. Some walk-a-thons went up to 27 miles. His very best friend, Lucki, loved walks just as much as Michael. Lucki was Michael's beloved pet dog who just passed away last month.
Michael is survived by his mother, Ann.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Maurice; and his grandparents, Michael and Victoria Worzalla, and Joseph and Laura Eichendorf.
A memorial service for Michael will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church - 3200 Plover Road, Plover, WI. Deacon Jim Sniadajewski will officiate the service. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday morning at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery immediately following the service.
