After medical school, he did an internship in Indianapolis then attended the University of North Carolina Chapel hill as a resident in Dermatology. He served in the Air Force as a dermatologist before opening his dermatology practice in Louisville. I had the good fortune to know Mike and Ann for many years. His love of family, devotion to his patients, and kind and gentle heart made everyone he met feel blessed. I know his children and grandchildren and the rest of his family will miss him terribly, as will all his friends. He was one of the grand old men of medicine, of which there are too few today. Rest in peace, Mike.
