Michael Edward Figas, age 64, passed away surrounded by his family on December 14, 2021. A doting father, grandfather, friend, and partner, Mike had a deep love and appreciation for animals and loved nothing more than spending his days in the barn with his horses and his beloved rescue pup Brutus. To know Mike was to be considered his friend, and he deeply valued his relationships with his family, friends, and coworkers alike. Mike took great pride in his many years at Tomlinson Industries, where he ran the company as president for 30 years.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Frank and his sister Arlene. He is survived by his mother Arlene (Chlumsky), wife Heidi (Meyer), children Matt Figas (Sam), Kristen Figas (Dan Ward), Melissa Axelrod (Mitchell), Hailey Nieset (Michael), and his granddaughter Emma Axelrod.
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 1 - 3 PM followed immediately by services at 3 PM. Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd, Novelty, OH 44072.
