Michael L. Flowers born December 29,1960 to Joseph R. Flowers and Arabella Flowers- Smith in Detroit Michigan the third of four children.
Michael attended school at St. Bridget and later attended Redford High school.
As a little boy, Michael would spend hours with his bags of army men. His love of army men inspired Michael to join the U,S. Army where he traveled around the world to places such as Germany, Korea, and Afghanistan performing his duties.
Michael also loved all types of sports, basketball, baseball and golf, his favorite sport was football and his favorite team was, the Detroit Lions. After Michael's stint with the army Michael moved to Arizona where he worked various jobs with the VA and Indian Hospital. One of Michael's favorite hobbies was cooking. Cooking lead Michael to become an awesome chef and baker as he cooked and baked for the Indian Hospital and VA in Phoenix AZ..
To know Michael was to love Michael, he met no strangers. Always willing to help anyone who was trying to help themselves. Although, Michael was not a loud person, his presence spoke volume. Whenever Michael was around he gave good vibes only. His laughter and sense of humor was unmatched.
Michael was preceded in death by his Father Joseph R. Flowers Sr, sister Lisa Y, Flowers, grandmother Mattie Mae Neely and niece Ashanta Flowers-Owens.
Michael leaves to cherish his mother Arabella Flowers-Smith of Scottsdale, AZ, Aunt Lucile Answorth Detroit, MI, brother Joseph (Leana) Detroit, MI, sister Ava Flowers Detroit, MI, niece Aza Burris Detroit, MI, Joseph Patterson (Rugayyah Williams) Detroit, MI, great niece Amari Flowers Detroit, MI, great- great niece ZaMari Flowers-Cook, great nephew Hakim Owens, Jashir and Khaliq Patterson Detroit, MI, niece Pie Detroit, MI and a host of other family member and friends.
