Mr. Michael Ross "Monk" Forehand

Mr. Michael Ross 'Monk' Forehand, age 68, of Bonifay, Florida passed away August 4, 2025, at Southeast Health Medical in Dothan, Alabama with his loving daughter Heather by his bedside. He was born November 26, 1956, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan to the late Lonnie Cleveland Forehand and Martha Ellen Mullin Forehand both of Holmes County Florida.

In addition to his parents, Monk was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Anderson Forehand 1982-2006 of Wisconsin and a half sister, Shirley Ann Mullin 1937-2006.

Monk is survived by his daughter, Heather Dawn Forehand Leonhardt of Wisconsin, his significant other, Mary Espey of Florida, and four grandchildren, Mason William Scott Forehand, Savannah Leonhardt, Phoenix Leonhardt, and Boston Leonhardt all of Wisconsin, along with several cousins and extended family.

A time of celebration and sharing memories of Monk's life will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the Bethlehem Community Church Fellowship Hall, 1622 Bethlehem Church Road, Bonifay. Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
