Miss you my friend, you were one of the true good guys in our lifetime. RIP

Dr. Gall, I was literally thinking of you just a few minutes ago and thought that I’d look you up. So sad to read of your passing several years ago. You were one of a kind, and a legend in my world. I’ll never forget so many things you taught me and know that I pursued becoming a teacher in part of how you inspired me. Godbless you and may you rest in peace.

I am hoping I have the right guy. Mr Gall was my teacher in 6th and 7th grades, at Brick Middle School. He was terrific. He motivated me, every day. We had a special relationship. He would test me, he would use me against the class, for the class, different roles, to accomplish his goals. He would carry in his desk a ball, and try to hit me during spelling bees, to test my attention span. He would sometimes run Gym Class, and while teams were being divided up, he'd toss the ball against the wall, higher and higher, see how high I could jump to catch it...till it was out of my reach. He could be very tough, but I always knew where/why he was coming from. He was definitely a favorite, and I miss him to this day.
I only found this obit just now, so I am really sad to see he passed 4 years ago, and I hope he did not suffer much, before passing, with cancer. I read below, from others, and see how he had the same effect on many students who still remember him, fondly. Truly a great one, and a terrific role model for me, back around 1976-1978. Years later, I even remember visiting him when he moved to Emma Havens. Still doing the same schtick! RIP, Mr Gall!

I think of Mike so often when golfing, talking to friends and remembering all the great and fun times we had, and Mike was a big part of that.Rest in peace my friend you are missed, never forgotten

Im thinking of you Kathy on this anniversary of Michaels passing. May you be comforted in your memories.

I just now found out about Michael's death from my cousin Wayne Castello, and I wanted to reach out and send my condolences to Michael's family. My memories of Michael go way back to grade school, where we shared so many memorable milestones. What I remember best over all those years was Michael's smile and the twinkle that was always in his eye. He was a sweet boy, grew into a fine man and died much, much too soon. I am truly sorry for your family's loss.

I have fond memories of Mr. Gall as such a thoughtful, kind and intelligent man. My mother enjoyed her time working alongside him very much.

Mike was my 7th grade teacher at VMMS in Brick. A great man and awesome teacher. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.

Dr. Gall was my supervisor at BTMHS...what a kind man he was and such a pleasure to work with. My condolences to his family, loved ones, and friends.

Dr. Gall was my instructor in 6th grade at LRMS in 1990. He was an inspiration and the best teacher I had during my time in Brick Schools. Dr. Gall had the special skill of mixing education with fun. Twenty seven years after being in his class I still remember his nicknames for students, telling us all he missed his dream of being a sanitation engineer, and his monogram sweaters. The education world lost a great one, and I am sorry to hear of his passing and I am forever grateful that I got to experience him as an educator. Sorry for your loss.

I had Dr. Gall when I was in 7th grade, back in 1997. He was the best teacher I ever had, and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Some of my best memories were in his classes. Dr. Gall, may you rest in peace , and may the Lords healing over your family in this time of sorrow. You will be greatly missed.
