Mr. Michael Allen Galvin Sr., Beloved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and Friend, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, in Saginaw, MI, at the age of 51 Years. Michael was born to Angela Galvin and Sonny Spiller Sr. on May 7, 1973, in Saginaw, MI.
Michael “Big Mike”, a resident of Killeen, TX, recently moved back home to Saginaw, MI, to be with his children and grandchildren. He attended Saginaw Public Schools and received his GED. He was employed as a Cook for many years in Killeen, Texas. Michael enjoyed partying with his Boone-Dox friends and family, cooking, spending time with his family, listening to music, and dancing. His movie collection was his pride and joy.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory his children, Mikeya Galvin, Michael Galvin Jr., and Q’Dale Woods of Saginaw, MI, and Kaiaylah Loment of Killeen, TX; bonus son, Quintay Donald Sr. of Saginaw, MI; grandchildren, Michael Galvin III and Makai Galvin of Saginaw, MI; sisters, Shonda Galvin, Rashida Laury, and Sonnetia Frazier of Indiana, Posrche Spiller of Saginaw MI, and Etoyia Magee of Flint, MI; brothers, Donzell Galvin of Saginaw MI, Sonny Spiller Jr. and Reginald Spiller of Indiana; aunts, Lena (Danny) Monroe), Diane Galvin, Louise and Rose Oliver of Saginaw MI; special aunt, Barbara Galvin; uncles, Larry Galvin of Saginaw MI and Michael Galvin of Killeen TX; special cousins, Aaron, Deshunda, Corey and Robert Galvin of Saginaw MI; special nieces, Champagne, Jasmine and Keyosha Galvin; special friends, Danyeil Taylor, Patrick Calbert, James Donald, Derrick Donald, Derrick Byrd, Sean Jones, Treddis O’Daniel, Anthony Franklin and Harry Brown; many other Boone-Dox friends and relatives.
Big Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Juanita Galvin, his mother, Angela Galvin, his mother-in-law, Vera Woods-Cannon, Auntie Linda Galvin, Hattie Lee Oliver, Allen, Carl, and Freddie Galvin, niece Angela “Toyee” Galvin, nephew Davarion Galvin, Quintravious Galvin, and De’Mon Galvin.
