While his passing is very sad and feels in a sense that a light has gone out of our lives, his colleagues' written tributes celebrate him as a man of faith, a faith that guided him and allowed him to use his extraordinary communications skill to help a very large audience with his insights. He was a wonderful man, who was taken by God so young.

Michael was a friend to the Berkley Center at Georgetown, and happy to share his time and perspectives with the faculty and students.

A wonderful man. May he rest in peace, and may his memory live with all who knew him. We were all blessed to know him.
