Michael Gibson

Michael Gibson, age 61, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2026. He was born on May 25, 1964, and lived a life defined by dedication to his family, his work, and the passions that brought him joy.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas N. Gibson and Lois Ellen Gibson.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Michelle Gibson; his children, Jake Gibson, Justin Medina (Ashley), Brandon Guerra (Hanna), Danielle Guerra, and Jessi Guerra; and his seven cherished grandchildren, who brought immense pride and happiness to his life. He is also survived by his brother, Tom Gibson (Mandy).

Michael attended the University of Georgia and remained a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan throughout his life. On fall Saturdays, he could often be found cheering on the Dawgs.

A hardworking and entrepreneurial man, Michael was the part owner and operator of the family owned business. Through his work, he built not only a successful business but also lasting relationships with those who knew and worked alongside him.

Outside of work, Michael had a love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. Riding was one of his greatest joys, and many of his happiest moments were spent riding with Michelle.

Michael will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his loyalty to those he loved, and the pride he took in his family. His presence, laughter, and stories will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
