Michael Keith Gipson, 62, of Bakersfield, California passed away on September 28, 2023.
He was born on July 18, 1961 to Frank and Mary Gipson.
Michael was an outgoing individual, known for his loud and vibrant personality. You could hear him from across the room, and he had never met a stranger. He was also a very caring person that would do anything to help a friend. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Kimberly, his daughter Brittany and son-in-law Tyler, his grandchildren Keith and Layne, as well as numerous friends and extended family members.
Michael attended Arvin High School and furthered his education at Bakersfield College. He dedicated 40 years of his life to Farmers Insurance where he had a very successful career.
In his free time, Michael enjoyed going shooting, visiting with friends, and spending time with his family. He cherished many memories of hunting trips, atv trips, along with quality time with his family.
A memorial service to celebrate Michael's life will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at Mission Family Mortuary.
He was beloved by many and his vibrant spirit as well as his unmistakable laugh will forever be missed by those who knew him.

Michael has been my insurance agent since 1985 I would love to go by his office and talk to him for a half hour or longer while I was writing a check...

Kelly and I will always have great memories of Mike. During our honeymoon he bought us dinner and it was so thoughtful. We had just recently seen him and it is great to have gotten to talk to him. He will be so greatly missed. We loved you very much Mike.
