Wantage - Michael K. Hall, age 61, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Middletown, Connecticut to the late Dr. Kenneth and Helen (Yost) Hall, Mike grew up in Wayne and Vernon and graduated from DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne. He lived in Paterson before moving to Sussex County in 1997. While living in Wayne, he was a fire fighter for 15 years with of the Pompton Falls Volunteer Fire Company #3. He worked in the tree business for over 41 years; including owning his own business, Beaver Brook Tree Service. He finished his career with McCullough Tree Experts. Mike was a generous and kind person who would always give a helping hand to family, friends and anyone in need. He supported Sussex Help Center Food Pantry and was a member of St. Monica R.C. Church in Sussex. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be sadly missed.
Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Hall. Michael is survived by his wife of 26 years, Armina (Alip); his children, Regina Hall and Danton Hall; his siblings, Helen Marie Hardgrove, Kate McChesney, Daniel Hall, Maureen Hall, Patrick Hall, and Colleen LeBeau; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Monica R.C. Church, 33 Unionville Avenue, Sussex. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. with fireman services at 4:30 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex, NJ.
