Michael Harris Obituary
Michael was married to Sharon Burtwell and Mary Hudson.
Michael attended school in Nottoway, Virginia, and Richmond, Virginia, where he built the foundation for a life marked by hard work and dedication. A skilled carpenter by trade, Michael took pride in his craft, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and integrity.
Outside of work, Michael found joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid guitar player, enjoyed fishing, and loved watching sports. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren and family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr. and Julia Harris; wife, Mary Hudson; siblings, Patricia McMillian and Richard Harris Jr.; nephews, Clarence and Jamie.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael Harris of Richmond, Virginia; four beloved grandchildren, Michael Harris Jr., Marqui Harris, Mackenzie Spencer, and Makayla Harris; his siblings, Kathleen Neal, Maxie Harris (Rita), Ricky Harris (Shantea), Tilda Lewis and LaShawn Blackwell (Gus Jr.); nieces and nephews, Tommy, Crystal, Bryan, Tyree, Ashley, Deonte, Kendale, Shamara, Jordan, Shantroy, Renisha, Ricky Jr., Bernard, Terrance, Wayne, Kareem, Gusonte, Nimarni, Chasity, Jarvonte, Amiracle, April, Christopher, Jamesha; other relatives and friends.
