Michael Kent Harris

Michael Kent Harris age 62, of Adrian died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at ProMedica Bixby Hospital. He was born August 3, 1951 in Adrian to John Joseph and Helen Mae (Knisel) Harris. On July 25, 1970 in Adrian he married Brenda Kay Jones. She preceded him in death on June 12, 2005. Michael had worked at Peerless Gear. Michael is survived by two sons, John (Monica) Harris and Bradley Harris both of Adrian; a daughter, Lisa (Thomas) Dessellier of Wyoming, Michigan; sister, Karen (Don) Johnson of Arizona; brother Kevin Harris; six grandchildren, Carson Harris, Mackenzy and Kaelin Dessellier and Malaney, Sydnee and Gavin Harris and his beloved dog, Shaylon. In addition to his wife, Brenda he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Lynn Harris in infancy, his parents and two brothers, Ronald and Terry Harris. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Jesse Turner officiating. Private burial will be in North Dover Cemetery.
